Professional Exhibition and Fair for public in one

The Special Exhibition for Security and Defence 2008 was the most successful event in the series of exhibitions in its field. The fair attracted 21,117 visitors, of whom 90% expressed willingness to visit the next event of this type. The visitors felt that the event met their expectations excellently or fairly well. The gender distribution 50/50 shows that total security is our common task.

In 2008, also more than 4,000 students visited the exhibition. The rescue demonstration by the lake Vesijärvi attracted over 2,500 people. Six thousand of the visitors were professionals in the safety and security field.

Security and Defense 2012 in Lahti –
repetition perfects the event

The development of the Lahti Fair Centre into a coherent exhibition area considerably increases the potential for arranging special exhibitions in the various halls.The new Vesijärvi Hall between the Salpausselkä Hall and Lahti Hall and the completion of the new entrance help the visitors better perceive the location of the exhibition halls.

The main show area is within the exhibition area. Lahti Fair Ltd knows the industry and therefore can more efficiently plan the content of the fair in collaboration with ministries, authorities, businesses, and other organisations.

The Security and Defence 2012 Exhibition offers a great deal of security information in the high quality seminars. The visitors can also participate interactively in the event.
