International Special Fair of Plastics and Rubber Technologies

Lahti Fair Ltd. has been organizing international trade fairs of plastics and rubber sector since 1986. Muovi Plastics has during the years developed into the most important venue for the industry – this is where national and international companies and industry professionals meet each other. Almost 6 000 experts, executives and employees from over 660 companies visited the previous Muovi Plastics Fair.

A grand revue with topical issues
On display at the Muovi Plastics 2011 will be materials, machining tools and ancillary equipment as well as the reinforced plastics and composite industries and manufacturers of semi-finished goods and casts. Topical issues of the Fair are clever plastic products (insetting electronics and optics to plastics), energy and material efficiency and biomaterials. Also great emphasis will be placed on the challenges of recycling of reinforced plastics.
Exhibition Catalogue
The Exhibition Catalogue of Muovi Plastics 2011 will accompany MuoviPlast magazine published in October 2011. MuoviPlast is the only Finnish trade magazine for the plastics industry. The special fair issue will be sent to over 5 000 subscribers, including companies and associations of the rubber industry.

Finnish Plastics Industries Federation
The most important employer federation of the plastics industry in Finland. The main activities of the federation are lobbying for the interests of the industry and dealing with the authorities. The federation has 113 corporate members.
The Finnish Plastics Association
Over 1 300 individual members of the association represent over 800 companies involved with the plastics industry. The main task of the association is to take care of the internal communication.
